Montana Fishing Licenses
A Montana fishing license can be purchased through The Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife & Parks which has long been regarded as one of the best state run organizations in the country. Not only do they help maintain our fisheries, they do alot to promote fly fishing in Montana. One of the ways the FWP achieves this is by providing licenses at a relatively affordable fee for the non-resisdent and resident Montana angler. The FWP also does an excellent job of enforcing the specific regulations for each fishery by conducting regular check points at all of our major access sites.
Below you will find the current Montana Fishing License Fees. Licenses can be purchased online at the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks or in the Trout Stalkers Fly Shop. We also encourage you to throughly review the current Montana Fishing Regulations on a regular basis.
